The open-plan kitchens include small electric hobs with 3 hot-plates and small ovens, extractor fans, and refrigerators with freezer compartments.
Each of them also has a sink with a single lever mixer tap, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a dining table and chairs.
The essential pots and pans, plates and dishes, cutlery and glassware are available.

In Melidoni (1 km) there is a mini market, and a baker's. The closest supermarkets are in Perama (4 kms).
The nearest LIDL market with a rich choice of budget imported foodstuffs is at Tsesmes (23 kms) by the New National Road to  Rethymnon.
The landlord and the landlady offer their guests a free shopping service and will bring goods e.g. also from the LIDL market.

You can also have fresh bread and fresh buns delivered to your villa in the morning (please make your order on the day before).
The restaurant is specialized in the traditional Cretan cuisine which can not anymore be found in many places. There is an amazing range of dishes from old family recipes.
The taverna's own potager above the footpath that leads from the villas to the taverna provides fresh vegetable all-year.

Breakfast or halfboard in the taverna can be included in your reservation. Continental breakfast is on offer from 8:00 until 11:00 a.m.
It includes toast, butter, jam, ham, cheese, juice, and filter coffee or tea. On request it can be extended e.g. by crepes, scrambled eggs, omelets, muesli, and yoghurt with fruit or with honey.
Lunch is on offer from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.

Furthermore there are Cretan snacks available from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., e.g. several types of "pitakia", salads, feta etc.
With halfboard, dinner includes a traditional Cretan dish, and salad.
You can arrange the details in advance with the host: Here they serve "custom-made" Cretan cuisine.
The bar is open from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
